Golden Globes 2024: Barbenheimer battle settled as Barbie flops in awards

The Barbie movie failed to deliver its promised raft of accolades at the Golden Globe Awards on Sunday night, picking up just two gongs from nominations in seven categories. The film – the highest-grossing of 2023 – lost out to its box office competitor Oppenheimer for Best Motion Picture, while both Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling missed out on individual awards for their performances.
