How to Crash a motorbike?

I probably should have died. I didn’t see the gate till it was too late, I applied the brakes 10 meters before the gate, I braked as hard as I could without locking up the wheels. I hit the gate between 30-40mph. If I had broken a bone I would have been stuck there till someone found me, as my phone was destroyed. I am very lucky that I didn’t.
