Manchester City brought up a century of goals under Gareth Taylor’s management after defeating Birmingham City 4-0 at the Academy Stadium. A first half brace from Chloe Kelly, a first City goal for Esme Morgan and a late strike from Sam Mewis secured the three points, in a dominant display from Taylor’s team. Despite the win, City were dealt a blow midway through the second half, after Kelly was forced off on a stretcher after a collision with Birmingham defender Rebecca Holloway.
