Vladimir Putin’s private militia is at the forefront as Russian forces advance in Bakhmut. Wagner’s assault group has taken control of two more blocks in north-west and central Bakhmut, according to news agency TASS. The Russian Defence Ministry added that Wagner forces were supported by 45 artillery attacks by the Army in their progress in the war-battered city in Donetsk. In the past couple of days, Wagner forces spearheaded Russian troops into taking control of 4 areas near Bakhmut.
