When Arnas arrives at the towers, he notices a dilapidated city. Local residents flee the settlement while the armies prepare for the coming offensive. There is a tense atmosphere in the city after the first attack, which the city was able to push back. Arnas hears someone whispering in his head “don’t follow the first path, see the essence.” While Arnas is thinking about who could have told him this, several guards run up to him, asking him to join their ranks. Seeing the unusual sword, they thought that Arnas was a good warrior. Arnas agrees and begins to prepare for the ongoing invasion. Having put on light armor and a shield, Arnas goes out to the surviving wall of the city. Before his eyes opens a view of a beautiful landscape across which, spread out as a black spot, walked that same dark army that destroyed the settlement of the wooden peoples.
