Russia: Land-based aircraft carrier deck simulates the motion of the ocean

Naval aviators flying the Sukhoi Su-33 from Russia’s Northern Fleet trained on the NITKA simulator at the Novofedorovka airbase, in Crimea, Thursday. The NITKA Ground Aviation Training and Research Complex is modelled on the Kuznetsov aircraft carrier. It includes a mock-up deck and take-off ramp.
