The Yamaha DGX-670 is a Huge Upgrade over the DGX-660

Many people have asked for a review of the DGX-670 and I must be honest, I was hesitant to get one, because I wasn’t super impressed with the DGX-660. It was OK for a home use instrument, but it hadn’t changed a lot in many years and some of its features seemed outdated by a decade. All of this has changed with the new 670, however. The case has been redesigned, the screen is a full-color, fresh looking display, and the sounds have been revamped to include some incredible organ, woodwind, brass, and piano sounds that are better than ever before. The instrument is amazing on its own - and that’s not discussing any of its arranger functionalities! While some things have remained the same, like the single headphone jack output and the GHS keybed, the things that have been improved are such an incredible advancement that it makes me wonder what is to come for the P-Series...
