The story of White Flower Oil, also known as Pak Fah Yeow, began in the 1920s in Penang, Malaysia, when Gan Geok Eng first developed the medicated oil for private use, named after his favourite flower - the daffodil. After it became popular among his family and friends, Gan decided to produce it commercially.
White Flower embrocation is a blend of several essential oils, including eucalyptus and lavender, methyl salicylate and menthol. It is a household essence for headache, dizziness, muscular pain, travel sickness and mosquito bites. It has been nicknamed “old lady perfume” for its refreshing, strong smell.
