Bodycam Footage Shows Thornton Police Officers Shooting at Bank Robbery Suspects

* (Disclaimer: This video content is intended for educational and informational purposes only) * Thornton, Colorado — On December 27, 2022, at approximately 1:00 p.m., Thornton Police Officers were dispatched to Wells Fargo Bank located at 12040 Colorado Blvd. in reference to an armed robbery. A male and female had reportedly displayed guns while walking into the bank. An officer in the area observed a vehicle leaving the bank at a high rate of speed. Other responding Thornton units initiated a pursuit. The fleeing vehicle, later determined to be stolen, drove to the intersection of 88th Ave and Hwy 2 in Commerce City where it drove against traffic and crashed into another vehicle. The driver of that vehicle suffered minor injury. The male suspect exited the stolen car and shots were fired, both adult male and adult female were injured in the incident.
