Boeing 787-10 Heavy Freeware Mod | Simbrief Integration Tutorial [MSFS 2020 Dreamliner Free Addon!]
The Heavy Division freeware project to improve the Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner in Microsoft Flight Simulator is progressing well - and in it’s current form, it already has Simbrief Integration too!
In this short 9 minute video, I’ll show you how to:
- Connect Simbrief to the B78X
- Consider things in your flight plan
- Produce a Flight Plan in Simbrief
- Import that into the MFD in the B78X
- Check for accuracy
- Tips on how to tweak invalid routes
TOP TIP (Extra for those who read this far!)
If you are doing an Oceanic Crossing with a NAT Track, EXPAND THE WAYPOINTS in the route!
1. For example, in Simbrief, it will show as “NATA“ in the route string.... if you zoom into the route it will show you the co-ordinates.
2. Write those down and then change NATA in the Simbrief Route to this:
54N020W 55N030W 55N040W 53N050W (the current NAT A co-ords).
3. Then save the route and pull that in - the aircraft will then be able to import the NAT
