GAME RECAP: Penguins at Sharks () | Domingue’s Delightful Debut

After a disappointing 3rd period against the Kings, the Penguins were looking to rebound. Louis Domingue got the start between the pipes for Pittsburgh, his first game as a member of the Penguins. Balcers got San Jose the lead first, but just under four minutes later, Kris Letang tied things up for the Penguins. With this goal, Letang tied Ron Francis for sixth-place on the Penguins’ all-time points list (613), per Penguins PR. Domingue would make many saves throughout the game, but he wouldn’t budge, and the game went to overtime. Jake Guentzel registered the overtime winner, with assists going to Sidney Crosby and Kris Letang. Per Penguins PR, with his assist on Guentzel’s overtime tally, Crosby is now tied with Alex Ovechkin and Patrik Elias for the most overtime points in NHL history (37).
