A Truce To Remember

A bit delayed with this, but hey, the Christmas vibe’s not (hopefully) over yet. Unexpected and out of nowhere, the blast of the weapons ceased. Instead, they replaced the bloody battle with a football match. As the Holidays ended, the fun was gone and each soldier returned back to their cold trenches. The battle continued as if no peaceful Christmas were celebrated at all.
