Happy 250 birthday Jorullo. New volcano in the fields of José Andrés Pimentel´s hacienda, Intendancy de Valladolid in the kingdom of New Spain. Visited by Francisco de Ajofrín, Alexander Humboldt, visit site of the 1906 international congress of Geology. Devastation and religious manipulation in the area. Forgotten after the eruption of Paricutin volcano. Abundant biological projects in the area. It was one of the wonders of the Natural world. Now it is a Natural Protected Area. Feliz 250 aniversario. Nuevo volcán, segundo de su tipo en América, junto con el Paricutín. Nacido en la hacienda de José Andrés Pimentel cerca de la Huacana en Michoacán, México, entonces la intendencia de Valladolid en la Nueva España. Muy importante en la geología por ser un volcán nuevo y visitado por Francisco de Ajofrín, Humboldt, Gadow y sede del Congreso de Geología en 1906, organizado por Ezequiel Ordóñez.
