Mission Samudrayaan: Matsya 6000 for India’s Deep Sea Mission | SoSouth
Following successful space missions like Aditya L-1 and Chandrayaan-3, India is now focusing on exploring the deep sea. Union Minister Kiren Rijiju recently revealed information about the Matsya 6000 submersible, which is a key component of India’s Samudrayaan mission led by the National Institute of Ocean Technology (NIOT). India’s first manned submersible called the ’Matsya 6000’ will carry three people to a depth of 6,000 meters to study deep sea resources and biodiversity.
