“ㄴ Addition” – A Lesser Known Sound Change Rule (ㄴ 첨가) | Korean FAQ

The word 끝말잇기 is pronounced “끈말릳끼” due to what’s known as “ㄴ 첨가” or “ㄴ Addition.” This is a sound change rule that affects the sound 이 and can change it to 니.
