Polska från Dorotea - Traditional Swedish music - Viola / Alto violin / Altfiol

Traditional folkmusic from Sweden. This is a polska (a common Swedish type of melody/dance in 3/4-beat) from the city of Dorotea in the area of Lappland, in the most northern part of Sweden. This melody is after Sören Johansson and I’ve learned it from Mats Edén. I play it in the original fiddle-key (g-minor) but on a Viola (alto violin) with the lowest string tuned down to a low G.
