Zager and Evans - In The Year 2525

This video was made and released back in 2008 and its propose was and still is to act as a warning about what could happen if we keep misusing and abusing the powerful tools of science and technology, not to celebrate techno-phobia and doom-and-gloom mentality. The video was inspired by @jarxgoody’s video ( and have been featured in @margaritadiaz6932’s cover ( and in the Future Music sector of Atomic Rockets ( #year2525 ). It’s also the most popular video of mine, with close to 8 million views. So popular, that some people have had been asking me to delete it by making comment like “hi, please delete it“ or “delete it or I’ll kill you“, or trying to bring it down by abusing the YouTube’s report system. And yet, the video is still here.
