Sunak: Team GB ’don’t want my advice on how to win’ | PMQs

Sir Keir declared the “crisis” in the UK’s public finances was “more severe” than he had expected. The Labour leader claimed there was “failure absolutely everywhere” in Whitehall after 14 years of the Tories being in power. In a response to a question from Sir Ed Davey, the leader of the Liberal Democrats, about funding for carers, Sir Keir said Labour would need to “review the challenges that we face”. “In relation to this issue we have a more severe crisis than we thought as we go through the books of the last 14 years. [The Conservatives] don’t like it, there was a reason the electorate rejected them so profoundly,” he said. Read our politics live blog here: #sunak #poltics #starmer
