Building a removable plate for the saw itself, removable inserts for the blade, and fine-tuning the saw. The removable plate could be used to replace the saw with other tools in the future (like a router or a jigsaw), or replaced with a thinner plate that will allow more depth of cut. I made a mistake in the video at 12:56, as I should have divided by 4 and not by 5.
