Pripyat Then and Now | Side-by-Side Comparison | Cities: Skylines Cinematic

So here it is. A “chroma key“ cinematic with real-life and in-game footage combined. Every in-game shot is matched up with its real-life video location (though some scaling issues made this difficult). Some parts are better than others and some of it looks just weird, but the whole point was to try something completely new and different for Cities Skylines and I think I’ve achieved that. I’ll look to improve on these techniques in the future to use periodically in Berlin Noir. Enjoy the final video of Pripyat!
