Looking for buried landmines at the Summer Science Exhibition
Holographic radar uses microwaves to detect buried objects such as landmines. Andrey Zhuravlev, Bauman Moscow State University, explains that most landmines on the commercial market today contain no metal elements, making finding them with metal detectors impossible.
