Cockpit View: Mi-8 Attack Run

Footage from the inside of a Ukrainian Mi8 MSB-V attack chopper shows low-level approach to get to within range of the Mi-8’s volley of unguided rockets. We’ve covered this technique before both on the website, as well as the live stream. It’s done primarily to maintain standoff from anti-air capabilities (by both sides), but also greatly decreases the effectiveness of the missile volley from an accuracy perspective. - @RonnieFit
