Horrors! The Beatles are losing their female fans to “England’s greatest detective“ -- James Blond! Then they overhear some thieves making plans to “rob Penny Lane“, and they figure that, if they catch the crooks, they’ll outshine their new rival. So, they make haste back to the street in Liverpool, and look around for “strange-looking characters“... Of note: I added an alternate song ending to the credits.
