Planting into dusty ground that hasn’t seen significant moisture in months, and then praying for rain. This is what it means to farm in north-central Kansas. The first sequence shows soybeans drilled with a John Deere 1890 air drill, followed by corn planted with a John Deere 1760 12 row planter.
