On a windy morning in Nove Mesto na Morave, the women competed in a BMW IBU World Cup sprint. It was a fun competition that saw Tiril Eckhoff take the win to equal her idol Liv Grete Skjelbreid, with Yuliia Dzhima second and Lisa Vittozzi third.
