PERFECT KHINKALI / How To Make Georgian Dumplings/ Step by step with a detailed recipe
Khinkali - Georgian dumplings, one of the most famous dishes of Caucasian cuisine. The delicate dough has the shape of a fancy pouch with nice folds, gathering high at the tail. Inside there are spicy meat and broth saturated with aromas of spices and herbs.
For the dough we need:
- flour 3 cups
- very cold water 1 cup
- salt 1/2 Tbsp
Knead well. The dough is ready! Shape dough into a ball, cover it with plastic wrap, and let the dough rest for 1 hour.
For the filling we need:
- minced meat - 1/2 kg
- onions - 2 pcs
- salt - 1/2 Tbsp
- black pepper - 1/2 Tbsp
- zira/cumin (optional) - 0.5 tsp
- dry cilantro - 1 Tbsp
- dry parsley - 1 Tbsp
- very cold water - 2 cups
