Ingredients:
1 1⁄2 pound (1/2 kilo) ground chicken
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
15 small cubes of mozzarella cheese (about 1 inch square)
1⁄2 cup all purpose flour
2 large beaten eggs
1 cup bread crumbs (You can use Panko, Italian, or parsley flavoured.)
1⁄2 quart of oil for frying ((1/2) litre of vegetable oil)
Additional Notes:
Cheese: Feel free to experiment with different types of cheese. Cheddar, mozzarella, or a blend of cheeses work well for a gooey and flavorful filling. Shred the cheese or cut it into small cubes to easily stuff inside the nuggets.
Coating: To achieve a crispy and golden exterior, we’ll use a combination of breadcrumbs and seasonings. You can use regular breadcrumbs or panko breadcrumbs for extra crunch. Add some herbs and spices like paprika, garlic powder, or dried herbs to enhance the flavor.
