Caramel Bread Pudding, Dark Chocolate, Truffle Ice Cream
Every once in a while I love experimenting with new flavor combos when I get a chance to work work with extraordinary ingredients and truffles are at the heart of this recipe. Truffle are a vasty underrated dessert ingredient with endless possibilities, but it will take some trial and error to get the perfect combinations in order to make a recipe worth incorporating truffles into it. Ingredients:
3 cups diced stale bread (plus a few slices for the top and bottom)
4 tbsp butter
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup milk
pinch of salt
1 whole egg
1/4 cup dark chocolate
Ice Cream
1 1/2 cups heavy cream
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup truffle honey
2-3 tbsp grated black truffle
pinch of salt
