Pugsley Munion — Just Like You 1970 (USA, Heavy Psychedelic/Hard Rock) Full LP 5.1 Sourround

Pugsley Munion began their career in 1969 in Fitchburg, Massachusetts under the name Mask. When the guys decided to record an album, they had to change the name, as it turned out that there was another “Mask”. The word Pugsley was taken from a street sign in New York, and Munion was the name of a cop he knew. The band’s original lineup included John Schuller, Tom Belliveau and Ed Kelly. The main creative force was John Schuller - he wrote all the songs alone or in collaboration with Belliveau. The album Just Like You was recorded at Bell Sound Studios in New York and released by the small label J&S Records in 1970. Pugsley Munion played great hard rock, with slick guitar and thunderous organ, in the style of the best work of the sixties. After the band disbanded at the end of 1971, John Schuller participated in various projects and groups. Tom Belliveau became a popular session guitarist, taking part in tours and recordings of many famous artists such as John Cafferty, Terence Trent D’Arby, Peter Wolfe and many others. Ed Kelly became a sought-after session drummer. Tracks: 01. What’s Right For Me - 00:00 02. Second Time For Me - 07:10 03. Take My Soul - 10:48 04. Just Like You - 16:34 05.
