Rest in peace, Dshamilja. This female snow leopard had been rescued from poachers in Central Asia after sustaining severe injuries in a snare. Conservationists managed to save her, and she eventually came to Zoo Zürich, where she gave birth to and raised several cubs, contributing to the EAZA snow leopard breeding program.
