“Nussio was born in 1902 in Grosseto, Italy. He was the chief conductor of The Orchestra della Svizzera italiana in Lugano. During his life, he composed a great number of pieces for orchestra, strings and winds. The Variations over an Arietta by Pergolesi is one of his best works, it is a very famous and important piece for bassoon.
