Input: orange oscillating crank. Output: green twin ratchet wheel of tooth number Z. Both go and back motions of the crank make the wheel rotate in the same direction. In 1 rev. of the input, the output rotates 1/Z rev. with two dwells. Angle deflection between the two ratchet wheels is 360/2Z deg.
