Sinclair QL: Part 1 (A First Look)

Finally got my hands on a Sinclair QL! I obviously won’t rehash all the basics - plenty of much better produced videos about that. So let’s see what I managed to get a hold of ... I got the QL itself and the UK power supply. I’ve swapped the plug for an Aussie one (no ground/earth) and it’s working fine ... a “strange“ combination of 10VDC and 16VAC (unloaded), or 9VDC and (loaded). Unfortunately it appears that my keyboard membrane needs replacing, so will try to source one of those ... ordered from good ol’ sellmyretro ... No idea if the two Microdrives work - will source some cartridges for that, and also plan to get a vDrive QL from Charlie in NZ at (when he’s back from his break).
