If you’ve been following our Italy episodes, we have been visiting the amazing towns in Lake Garda. In this episode we visit Malcesine. The town is built into a hilltop and is a compact, colorful, delight to stroll through, with narrow alleys, excellent shopping, cafes and restaurants. Malcesine is most famous for its medieval castle and fortified walls, as well as its cable car to the top of Monte Baldo - which sits high above Malcesine. It’s also known for its many water sports and hiking opportunities.
