💬 In this video cycle, I will share my workflow of creating a hyper-real portraiture in 3D. I will start with a base mesh, walk through anatomy sculpting and then will demonstrate how I texture model in Substance Painter, set-up a scene for a photo real render in V-Ray 5.
❗ Human face is tricky and requires lots of observation and practice. Be ready for forward and backwards steps in achieving likeness and don’t get upset if you won’t get the results you imagined at first time. Even experienced artists can struggle which is normal. Just give yourself a break, don’t work on it for couple of days, then come back and give it a look with a critical eye. Most likely you will spot the mistakes.
Nevertheless, the steps that I developed in my practice help me to reduce the mistakes to minimum and spot the wrong areas when I struggle.
Tutorial was designed for beginners, but I suggest you to know basic sculpting in Zbrush, be familiar with anatomy, already sculpted some organic creatures. In
