Turkey: Heavy flooding hits northern Black Sea region

Turkey’s northern Black Sea region has been hit with heavy flooding, inundating businesses and residential buildings and damaging infrastructure, as seen in Bozkurt, Denizli province on Wednesday. Emergency service teams could be seen driving vehicles through the submerged roads, littered with fallen trees and rubble, to rescue residents. Several villages in the region have been evacuated, whilst four have been reported dead and one remains missing.
