The UK’s Supreme Court has ruled that the government’s plan to send asylum seekers to Rwanda is unlawful. The ruling is a major blow to prime minister Rishi Sunak who’s made tackling illegal migration a key policy pledge. The court unanimously rejected the government’s appeal against an earlier court ruling.
