Alexander Mikhailovich Semionov was born in February 18, 1922 in Torzhok, Tver Province, Soviet Union. In 1940 he graduated from Tavricheskaya Art School in Leningrad where studied of A. Gromov, S. Bootler, V. Oreshnikov, V. Levitsky, M. Aslamazian. Since 1954, Alexander Semionov has participated in Art Exhibitions. He painted cityscapes, landscapes, genre scenes, ancient Russian towns. His solo exhibition was in Leningrad in 1987. Since 1957 Alexander Semionov was a member of the Leningrad Union of Artists. Alexander Mikhailovich Semionov died in Leningrad in paintings are in Art museums and private collections in Russia, Japan, France, USA, England, and throughout the world.
