Erik Buell is a motorcycling legend who needs little introduction. In his 20s Erik was an AMA Formula One and Superbike racer who worked as a motorcycle mechanic by day and studied engineering by night. He went on work at Harley-Davidson and used his racing knowledge to improve their street bikes. In his spare time he began developing a racing bike he called the RW750 and eventually left H-D to start the Buell Motorcycle Company, which was eventually sold to Harley-Davidson. Erik and the Buell Motorcycle Co
