Lionfish is a band that slips easily from its acoustic guitar based roots to an electric edge. Lionfish’s tapestry of sound ranges from rock grooves to pop tunes, with emotiotnal lyrics delivered with the amazing vocal prowess of L.P. Alicia and L.P. have been writing songs together since meeting in London after graduating college. After fronting different styles of bands at home in New York City, the two started playing as Lionfish in 1995. They took the name after their zodiac signs, Leo and Pisces.
