The 144,000

Right before the sounding of the seven trumpets, Jesus will seal 144,000 people consisting of people around the world. The twelve tribes have been scattered for thousands of years and the sealing of 12,000 from each tribe will ensure every nation, kindred and tongue will hear the gospel of Jesus Christ. These 144,000 have one special purpose for God’s plan of salvation as they preach their message during a time of great distress on earth, “such as has not been from the beginning of the world until now, no and never will be“ (MAT 24:21) They are empowered by The Holy Spirit and the Word of God, the two witnesses of Revelation 11:3. Once their purpose has been served they will be killed by the beast from the abyss until 3.5 days pass and they are resurrected and taken to Heaven in a cloud, offered as first fruits to the Lord and to the Lamb.
