In this video, we demonstrate the transformation of the Bystar 4020 CO2 laser cutting machine into a 3000W fiber laser cutter. Our custom-designed AICS module effectively controls the fiber laser output and cutting head focusing signal. The conversion from a bulky CO2 laser source to a compact fiber laser source optimizes the machine’s footprint. We also upgraded to a dedicated cutting head for fiber laser machines, enhancing cutting efficiency and precision. Furthermore, we improved the equipment by replacing the drag chain with integrated fiber optic conduit for reliable power transmission and protection. To ensure stable operation, a chiller unit was added to the upgraded equipment.
