Kenyan cult leader to face murder charges for starvation deaths of followers

신도들 “집단 아사“ 케냐 사이비 교주 살인 혐의로 기소 Moving over to Kenya, where a judge on Wednesday ordered mental health evaluations for cult leader Paul Mackenzie and 30 associates before they are charged with the murder of 191 children. Mackenzie, the head of the Good News International Church was arrested last April after 429 bodies including those of children were found in graves west of the town of Malindi in Southern Kenya. Authorities say the doomsday cult leader had ordered his followers to starve themselves and their children to death, so they could reach heaven before the end of the world.
