Kihei Brush Fire After Transformer “Blows“

A brush fire ripped through the heart of Kihei endangering nearby residents as flames leaped skyward near a transformer line that residents claim they heard “blow“ just moments before. This follows allegations that #Maui Electric company was partially responsible for the #Lahaina fire because it declined to deenergize its lines as wind swept through the area.
