Beth McCarthy - She Gets The Flowers (Official Music Video) LISTEN HERE: The original concept for this song was inspired by a video of Hannah Klein: After seeing this and having experienced those emotions myself, I posted my initial idea for ’She Gets The Flowers’ onto TikTok. I honestly couldn’t believe the amount of people who commented saying they could relate and really it was this that led to me finish writing the song and release it into the world. This song isn’t really ’about’ me, or Hannah, it’s about anyone who didn’t get the flowers and I wanted to echo that in the music video. The stories told in this video are all real experiences from real people all over the world. I received over 200 emails with stories of heartbreak so this is just a handful of those. While there’s a lot of pain in these stories, there’s something truly magical in the fact that we can all share in it together and know that no one is alone.
