The first of four renditions of Suspicious Minds filmed over as many consecutive shows in August 1970 during production of the movie “Elvis - That’s The Way It Is“. An edited version of this 11 August 1970, dinner show performance was used in the 2001 re-edited version of That’s The Way It Is. The part where Elvis jokes with The Sweet Inspirations was taken from the dinner show twenty four hours later and the ending from the midnight show that same evening. Here it is in complete form using using video footage from the Blu-Ray version of the 2001 movie, “That’s The Way It Is - The Complete Works“ and audio from RCA/Sony’s remastered audio of the 11 August 1970 Dinner Show. As with all of these videos, to get the most out of the re-edited audio, I highly recommend you use ear /headphones and turn the volume up as much as you dare!
