Dutch singer Willy Albertina Verbrugge is the daughter of Carel Verbrugge better known as schlagersinger Willy Alberti. In 1958 she recorded her first single with her father: ’Zeg Pappie Ik Wilde U Vragen’. In 1965 she released her first solo-album, Willeke. Willeke became a household name in the Dutch entertainment business and had a string of Top 40 hits.
