In this original pilot for Emeril Lagasse’s 2001 sitcom, Emeril struggles to juggle his professional and family life. After a disastrous preview for the press, this pilot was scrapped and reworked as the episode “Whose Life is it, Anyway?“ Some of the dialogue is the same, but Robin Riker (Norah Lagasse) was replaced, two new characters were added, Emeril’s family faded into the background, and Lisa Ann Walter dyed her then-red hair back to her usual blonde.
