Cardinal Rev. Giorgio Marengo | The World’s Youngest Cardinal | Apostolic Journey to Mongolia

Hailing from Italy and born on June 7, 1974, Marengo’s path led him to the Consolata Missionaries, where he became a priest in 2001 before embarking on his remarkable journey to Mongolia. Serving a nascent Church of 1,450 faithful, he garnered recognition as an exorcist, and his dedication led to his appointment as apostolic prefect of Ulaanbaatar on April 2, 2020, succeeding Bishop Wenceslao Padilla. He was consecrated as bishop on August 8, 2020, by Cardinal Luis Antonio Tagle. He’s been a beacon of interfaith dialogue, fostering harmony between Mongolian Catholics and Buddhists, leaving an indelible mark on his legacy. -------------- This content is copyrighted to Shalom Media.
