This is a second video that shows another way of approaching ’french-seams with piping’ using a single needle pfaff I have done is recreate what a ’twin needle sewing machine’ with special feet do this , this machine with special ’french-seams piping feet’ would do a better job. I would like this design for a next ’bucket seat project’ in a combination of alcantara and leather materials.
In video one, I showed the ’tip’ of cutting off some excess of leather piping strip and I think I would go with this former become easier to sew.
I want to add that to facilitate the procedure it was necessary to do some modifications/cuts/sanding of presser feet, and I believe that if you are planning on doing this design I would advise you to buy an extra foot to modify it.
In next video I will show another piping tips.
I hope you find this video useful!
